Meet Lindsay

Some people are born into the family business. Lindsay was born into retail.

Raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Lindsay grew up surrounded by beautiful things. Her parents owned and operated the beloved Hattiesburg staple Randy Price and Company, where she learned firsthand the art of customer service, merchandising, and creating an experience customers would remember.

After graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing, Lindsay stepped into many different roles within the family business. From managing behind the scenes operations to designing store displays, she learned every side of retail. Eventually, she found her place as the women’s buyer for Thyme Boutique, where she developed an eye for styling, trends, and helping women find pieces that made them feel confident.

After stepping away from the demands of retail to spend more time with her family, Lindsay shifted gears and joined Accents Fine Home Interiors and Gifts. There she focused on inventory management, organization, and continued developing her creative side. Surrounded by beautiful homes, timeless pieces, and Southern style, Lindsay discovered a passion for taking individual elements and turning them into something special.

Each Christmas, you can find Lindsay helping design and decorate the signature Christmas trees inside Accents, along with creating custom holiday designs for homes throughout the Pine Belt. Whether styling an outfit, decorating a home, or designing a tree, she realized she loved the same thing about all of it; pulling together colors, textures, and details to create something beautiful.

Eventually, all of those years of experience came together in a new way: hat making.

Now known by many as “the hat lady,” Lindsay has helped create more than a thousand custom hats for women looking for that perfect finishing touch. Each James Gray hat combines her love of styling, creativity, and personal details into a wearable piece of art.

When asked, “Why hats?” Lindsay says:

“Because hats always fit, no matter what size dress you’re wearing.”

A great hat has the ability to make you feel confident, polished, and completely yourself. It doesn’t just finish an outfit, it tells a story.

Outside of James Gray Hat Company, Lindsay is married to Kyle Caminita. The two were married in 2013 and are raising their two children in Hattiesburg. Together they love traveling, trying new things and always finding their next adventure.
